Tuesday Tutorial with Marie Lottermoser: Stamping on Page Protectors

Hello Everyone!  It's Marie Lottermoser here today to share one of my favorite stamping techniques with you.  Instead of stamping on a journaling card or photo, try stamping directly on top of your page protector.  This technique works especially well with see-through pockets, where you get a nice dimensional look.

Make sure you use a permanent ink such as Staz-on which works on any surface including plastic. Be careful to hold your stamp steady so it doesn't slip or roll on the page.  Press down slowly and evenly. On this page I used the stamp set which came with the July Pocket Life kit as well as a roller date stamp.  You can also use a sharpie pen to add your own handwriting.

Once your ink is dry, choose some of your favorite embellishments to add in the pocket.  Use a fuse tool or sew your pocket shut.

By using thicker embellishments you will pop your stamping up, and add a fun shadowed look to your pocket.

I hope this inspires you to try different ways to stamp on your pages, including directly on top of your page protector.   Have a great day!!
